Feb. 25th, 2004 09:37 amTook the bus into work. Since laying down is the worst thing I can for my back, and I have not learned to sleep standing up (mooooo), the obligatory horizontal nature of sleep makes the first few minutes of the morning very painful. Once I am vertical however, I am doing.....ok. Sitting down is not nearly as bad as it used to be, so long as I stand up and take a break occasionally. The jury is still out about driving home, I will decide at the end of the day. It's sore, but just a general soreness rather than a debilitating pain. I can walk mostly normally now, just not very quickly, but I can mostly hide the fact is't hurting when I am at normal walking speed.
