I have resolved to start jogging, not at the gym, but about the neighbourhood. I am realizing the difference between a treadmill, and real running that covers distance. In both you are active and have to move your legs, but only in one do you have to actually propel yourself.
Pros: A bit more dynamic, see different things, can do it when the gym is closed, and with less prep time, can fit it in in the morning before work.
I have plotted myself a 5km track from home to start with, which I am going to aim to do daily, or close to daily. Some days I may walk it, however I will do it none the less.
