Now americans are going through this anti-France thing. People are tearing up french flags, desecrating french bread, boycotting french fries (but freedom fries, they're ok, 'cause they're not FRENCH fries).

PARDON ME !!?!??!!!?!

What is it about the american psyche that makes them so hateful and fearful? I know I am generalizing, I know they don't all feel this way, but I also know that many of them do. There is something about the american mind that scares me.

And they're destroying perfectly good bottles of French wine. Sacré bleu!

If you think this is bad, check back in your history to WWII and the anti-German sentiment then. Even up here in Cananda we were anti-German. A few towns were renamed in reaction to the anti-German sentiment of the day.

It's all propaganda. That's what it boils down to. The big government propaganda machine.

You know, I would ignore it, but that would only encourage them. So I will continue to eat my French Fries; I will continue to eat my Brie on French Bread whilst sipping a nice Chardonnay. I think it's just stupid to be revisionist this way. But that's just me.
