No birthday complaints
Dec. 21st, 2002 11:10 pmHad a nice crowd at dinner, ate a hasty Swiss Chalet meal, then off to the theatre. We did not end up sitting together, we were a bit late for that even as early as we were, but I got to sit with both Helen and Nesia (whom I met at the theatre), so that was all the company I needed. Nesia is finally back, I had not seen her in about 2 weeks...that's a long time!
Had dinner tonight with Helen's bf and a mutual co-worker of theirs. Very cool woman. One of the few at her work that didn't blink an eye learning about the whole poly scenario. Apparently everyone was aghast when she mentioned she was having dinner with us. Apparently once she enters the den of the poly vampires we are going to chain her up in the dungeon and indoctrinate her into our perverted ways......or something. Maybe it never occurred to them that we may have a civilized dinner and a spot of wine, just like (gasp) 'normal' people. Anyways, she is super cool, spoke about poly, and assorted counter-culture conversation topics like they were no big deal, she proved to be very good company, even though I had never met her before.
d&d hopefully tomorrow, ovalone's campaign. I am looking forward to this, I have wanted to get back into this for a while, hopefully Sunday nights will continue to be a viable night for me to do this on, that would be good.
xmas shopping almost all done, I have one more gift I want to get (I just don't know WHAT yet), and possibly one more beyond that (not imperative, but it'd be nice). At least I have Helen and her family covered.....oh, except my brother in law's dog, I was going to get something for the dog. Ok, I have 2 more gifts to get.
