Yup, it's that kind of cold. Sniffles, gone, sneezes, gone, coughs, gone, tiredness, ruling my mind like an iron fisted tyrant. The traditional last phase of this kinf of cold. Somewhere between 9 and 10 last night, watching Harry Potter dvd at home, and almost passing out on the couch. Helen eventually just shut it off and sent me upstairs to bed. It is not 9:30 AM, and I am rubbing my eyes. It'll pass. Ottawa Rebel play tomorrow night, I have to be alert so I can make copious amount of noise and holler when we whup the Toronto Rock.

Ever try and meet up with someone that you have never met before in your life, especially when you only have one picture to go with where the face is partially obscured, and not being 100% certain of the name. It ain't easy. The name is my fault, I had it, I just thought for some unknown reason it wasn't the actual name. Live and learn, I shall not give up. It's kind of an adventure really.

edit: Oh yeah, my car was NOT happy with me this morning, how dare I try and start it. It went, but was making a sort of plaintive noise until it had a chance to warm up a little, and tried to prevent me from gear shifting at first.

It's fucking brrrrr!

OK, so I may have someone who will take my Cabaret ticket....maybe. Not a sure thing though, so don't let that dissuade you from pursuing it.

Met with [livejournal.com profile] kabarett today after one failed attempt to find her. Chatted for .... half an hour anyways about musicals of all kinds, musicals in town, musicals on Broadway, musicals in movies. She is, if possible, a bigger nut than I am about musicals. I mean I love them, but I am usually sated seeing them just once during a run in the NAC. No, if she takes my ticket, she would be seeing it 3 times....in about a week! Actually I think it's only free time (well, and funds) that prevents me from doing that. I was thinking about seeing Rent twice last they came to the NAC, but I never got organized to try for the last minute tickets that would have made my second visit.

Did you know Les Ailes de la Mode in Bayshore shopping center has a movie theatre? This store is HUGE, and among other things, has a large (well, medium) screen darkened theater with about 20 - 30 stadium style seats. It's for bored husbands to sit and watch a movie while their wives shop. They also have a pianist playing on occasion, and several seats with newspapers available. This is unlike any other mall department store I have ever seen.

Seriously have trouble motivating myself to work this afternoon, want to go home and sleep!
