So what does one wear to a "wear something interesting" themed party, when the only thing I have that qualifies as interesting is sca garb (and in this circle, that don't count). I have my Ottawa Rebel Jersey which I will be wearing to the game before the party, but does that qualify as interesting? Not really, not anymore anyways. bah!

edit: I am pondering my rarely seen elizabethan dublet and blue jeans, it's a unique look, or a double breasted suit jacket and tie, and no shirt.

Went to gym today. It has been 5 days since my last visit, the longest wait since I started. I was more or less fine though. I am not too sure about my new back excercise, I don't like the posture I have to take and worry about my lower back. I also tried the treadmill for the first time instead of the stationary bikes. I didn't like it. THe bikes regulate themselves, adjusting tension to reach a target heart rate. The treadmill just goes, and you pick a speed. I don't know what's to fast, or to slow, to reach half an hour, and I don't like the bumping and jarring on my back. Back to the bike I go.

Had a lovely long talk with Nesia last night. I did my best to assure her that if I get a part in the play, I will still be making every effort to spend time with her as my rehearsal schedule permits. When I did my first stage show 4 years ago or so, Helen had a real rough time with the time commitment. We're both a little older and wiser now, and more secure in our relationship, that we know how to handle it. Jesus Christ Superstar last year wasn't nearly as rough. But Nesia has never been through this. We'll just have to try our best and work though it one week at a time.

Finished reading Beauty's punishment, second book in the claiming sleeping beauty series. Definitely better than the first book, far FAR better than the first. A little grittier, a litte more real. The trouble with reading a bdsm themed fairy tale though is that it's still a fairy tale. It's hard to relate. Starting reading a new book on loan from Nesia, "The leather daddy and the fem", which is so far about, oh, 10 times better than the beauty books, I just wish it weren't so short (130 pages or so). One third of the way in and it's very engaging. She was worried I wouldn't like it.

Off to shower. I had one at the gym, but had to shampoo and I was sitting in the whirlpool, so I got clorine in my hair.
