So I found out Orpheus is giving all the actors blurbs in the program. The leads (of which I am not one) get a full blurb, a paragraph worth anyways, but the rest of us get, accoring to them, 30 to 35 words, enough to say a little something. So now I need to figure out a blurb. Now among other things, it is customary to thank the people in your life that supported your endeavour. What I am wondering now, is if the Orpheus viewing audience is ready to see a blurb that shows me thanking my wife Helen, and my girlfriend Nesia (her real name though, with her permission) for their love and support. Heck, I don't know if the production company will be able to digest it (many of them being really quite conservative quiet church going folk). So should I not censor it all, and just let them chew on it, or maybe tone it to say, "Michael would like to thank Helen and Nesia for their love, support, and understanding" (14 word so far). It's more nebulous, they can wonder, but they may assume a mother, a sister, a daughter, even a friend. Should I spare their sensibilities, or just not worry about it?
Still coughing some, but I think I am on my way back out.
