So we now have a theoretical colour for every facet of the house we need to pick a colour for. Tiles, wood, carpet, counters, everything. Big props to Socks' mother who was a big help in narrowing down the kitchen choices. After that, it was a roller coaster of decision making to a point where we have chosen everything. Some colours may still undergo editing, but we have a choice.
We also totted up our expenses vs. our budget. With the house, the upgrades, the kitchen, the appliances, and the dining room table we already bought....we are over budget, barely. From here on in, we need to find new cash for any further options. Primary considerations are....window treatments (curtains and blinds), water filter system for the house, moving expenses, possibly a new bed (though we have a certificate for the Brick coming we can use here), possibly new couch. Secondary considerations are central vac machine, AC (once summer is there), lawnmower (my spring), back yard treatments, pantry for kitchen, under cabinet lighting for kitchen.
Lots of stuff. I have never been so excited about being horribly in debt. :)
