Not sure what this is based on...
So an interesting thought was pointed out to me. We know the liberals and NDP count for exactly half the seats. But who is going to be the speaker of the house. 154 seats is technically not half, it's more than half once you discount the speaker....unless the speaker is in fact a liberal or ndp. Selecting a speaker is going to be an exercise in tactics in and of itself.
Had a nice weekend (not counting last night when I couldn't get to sleep for the blanket of humidity sitting on me). I invited a girl I met at the poly dinner over to watch musicals (Jesus Christ Superstar, and the Producers to be specific). It was good fun, and she seemed to enjoy them both.
Sunday, I made it to fencing, but couldn't summon the motivation to put my armour on. The crowd was very small with so many people being out of town, and I was a bit tired, that I just ended up chatting and hanging out. The diner was fun, 4 men scoping out every girl that walked past, and Peter rolling his eyes the entire time. One of those outings where you end up laughing hard enough to cry. All in all, a relaxing and fun weekend.
Our house is nearly done! When last we peered through our windows, we had tiles, hardwood, bannisters, outlets, .......about the only things we can tell is missing is sinks, some electrical outlet panels, general cleaning up....there maybe more, but we can't see it. We even finally have our dining room window! It feels like it's almost such a done deal. There is so much to do still! Eeep! Still things to plan, and arrange, and make ready, appliances to finalize, buy a bed, arrange movers, pack, .......yikes!
