Once home again this afternoon, Helen and I chatted about our evening, and went out to run a few shopping errands. We now have a shower curtain for my big bath. A vinyl (faux leather as the pack calls it) shower curtain. I would never have thought to get a black vinyl shower curtain.....but there, it works. We have had the devil of a time picking a good curtain for that space, as it's a very non-traditional bathroom.....but it's kind of cool. It does make the shower stall darker however. We left off going about too far, as I was getting sleepy (it was a late night), but it's a good sleepy.
The house is dancing with the aromas of a freshly assembled spaghetti sauce, made by Helen from scratch. It is now simmering, carrying tomato, onion, peppers, spices, bay leaf, etc... about the house. I am a spoiled rotten boy. I have had a feast cooked up for me, morning and evening, and I've just had to make appreciative noises as I eat them. Tell me this isn't the life. :) Lucky am I. That is all. Carry on.
