Warmer weather, stuff is melting a bit,…that’s good right?
It also means my driveway is a swamp of icy slush now, with parts of it still frozen up, making it all rather hard to navigate. I am presently stuck half way up my driveway, my neighbour is stuck, wedged on my back corner at about 45 degrees, I can’t move forward, he can’t move back. There is nothing either of us can do (and I so do not blame him for getting stuck on my bumper, I didn’t entirely leave him enough room). I layed salt down all over around our tires, and strategically in places, where if it breaks up a bit, we can start excavating ice and slush and hurling it away. If we can get him to back up, I can then move either backwards or forwards, I just need wiggle room to rock the car back and forth. If we can move around a bit, we can clear away the ice and slush and maybe get close to a clear driveway.
That’s the hope. I need to get to it early enough…I need to leave for Toronto in the afternoon, probably by 2:00 at the latest.
