Apparently injuring myself may become tradition when working on an election campaign. Last time, it was a badly twisted ankle on election day. This time, I got out of the gates early by clocking myself on the top of the head with a heavy steel pounder used for driving in wood stakes by catching it on the top of the stake making it tip over on top of me.

It gave me a cut on my scalp that is feeling a little tender, but other than that I am none the worse for wear.
