Feb. 28th, 2011 04:30 pmIndian people have a cultural mannerism that has really grown on me. When they are talking with you, and they are in a mood of general agreement, or to indicate there is no problem with what has been said. There is even a wiki page on it.

I love it. I am pretty sure it's only partly conscious, and it just goes to show the sincerity of their agreement. It's not just agreement, but it's sincere agreement. You wouldn't see it if it was reluctant agreement. It's therefore very comforting.
In other news, it's raining here. For February, this is remarkable news. India has dry season and rainy season, like we have summer and winter. Rain in February would be as odd as snow in June.
