We had live entertainment furing our meal. 90% of it was decently performed, classical french canadian music, quite nice if you like the style, though we were seated close, so it was louder than ideal. Then it starts.
We hear something nameless that sounds none the less, distinctly jewish
Then we hear "If I were a rich man" from fiddler on the roof
Then a bit later, a french version of Eildelweiss (from sound of music)
Then, a bit later, Cabaret, the title song from the show (life is a cabaret old chum, come to the cabaret)....IN FRENCH!!
My wolrd views were colliding hard
