pictorMy company recently lowered its threshold for when people get 4 weeks of vacation from 8 years, to 5 years, making a lot of people pretty happy. However, they have no policy of any sort in terms of when people get 5 weeks of vacation.
Does anyone know any standards, other than the government (which is more generous than the private sector), in terms of vacation leave past the 4 week mark? Does your company have a 5 week (or more) threshold. I've been here a fair time, and if 5 weeks is in the least a reasonable request, I hope to pursue it with human resources.
