Well hell!

I changed my e-mail address registered with LJ to my yahoo address instead of my work mail. Now, I get about a dozen spams a day in my inbox, NOT my bulk folder. Yahoo doesn't seem to catch these with it's spam blocker. I am assuming this is mail that started by going to my lj account address and got redirected, I kind of wish lj would spam block a little of that themselves.

How on earth can LJ block the spam? The email doesn't go through them. Or are you talking about mail going to ansfrid@livejournal.com and being redirected to your other account?

yeah. Anything going straight to my yahoo is out of there hands, but going through lj.com they could apply some spam blockers. It's not there responsibility per se, it'd just be nice.
