First of all, mucking big thank yous to lrt512. Thanks to his parts, AND his labour, my computer has been upgraded with twice the memory, twice the video card memory (and a better chipset), better soundcar, and a 70% boost in cpu speed. It's still a fairly modest computer by todays standards, but it's bad ass compared to what my computer was 24 hours ago. Thank you, you are a prince among men.

Helen brought up the idea of going skiing this weekend. It's a good idea...an excellent one in fact. She's pretty clever is my wife. I am looking forward to it now. I did a fair bit of it last winter, I hope I can keep in the habit of doing some this winter as well.

Bought my ingredients for olliebollen making yesterday. I have enough for probably a triple batch anyways, it's hard to tell just how much I want to make as I am not sure how much the recipe itself will make. As I said, I am making this up as I go. Those that want to come, let me know if you need directions. If you tried e-mailing me, I may have caught you in my spam deletion. Spam, we hates it my precious! If I did, I apologize. It doesen't matter how much you make; you could make twenty batches and I could eat them all! I think I'm coming with Dabunz when she gets off of work and maybe my friend Cristovau from Boston if he manages to haul himself up here in time. I will probably need directions so one of you's call me at Kat's. I'm pretty sure you have the number?
