Nesia and I watched Stigmata last night. I gotta say, I got a real soft spot for biblical based thrillers. There is something really engrossing about fiction based on either the conflict between heaven, hell, or earth, or just conflict from within the church. I am not sure why I like it so much. Prophecy is still one of my favorite films. In any case, Stigmata was kind of cool, because in the end, there was no villain per se, not really. There was suspense, and perceived danger, but in the end it is mostly a lack of understanding. Anyways, pretty cool, I liked it.

I touched on my first bdsm play last night. The most I had done before was some spanking or biting, but this time around I worked on a little actual dom/sub play, physical restraint, coersion (not intercourse mind you, haven't figured out how you stop to put on a condom when you are expending energy to hold down a fairly fit and strong sub). Anyways, we didn't do it for a long time. The agreement that I could do it came only a bit earlier, so I had not thought much about the mechanics of what I was doing.....stil, it was pretty fun. The scene itself did not last a long time (5, 10 minutes?, well the mood was there a bit longer, but it altered itself back to standard), but it was a nice taste.

Ski update: Still waxed, still unused. Pondering whether I could swing a weeknight trip somewhere nearby, if not, I want to ski Saturday for sure.

started Ovalone's d&d game last Sunday. We went 3 hours, then packed it in. It was fun, shows some real promise, but I hope we can go longer than 3 hours. I am just hitting my stride at that point. I feel like we were starting to get somewhere, but needed to go some more yet. Anyways, it's been long enough since playing that I am keen to get some quality play time in.

I am trying to eat better, I am trying to cut down on obvious junk food, eat sensible portions, generally be healthy. So someone plunks an entire box of utterly decadent cinamon roles full of icing and sugar and cream cheese, gooey oblivion, in the office kitchen. They should KNOW I can't resist cinammon goodies just sitting there, why do they do this to me. It's all their fault.
