Pride & Prejudice. Over 5 hours long. Good character drama, excellent acting, fantastic sets and costumes. I'd normally call 5 hours a bit on the long side for a drama, but it stayed watcheable throughout.

rare random cough still pops up occasionally, but beyond that, I feel the cold is gone. I'd have called it gone for maybe 2 days now, except this rare, occasional cough that pops back in.

My thermostat confuses me. I can't find that "right" setting, where the house is comfortable. I was sitting about earlier, and was thinking "hmm, it's a touch warm, I'd really like to maybe crack open a window just a smidge". Ok, that is silly, so I turn the thermostat down instead, just a touch, like 2 degrees, maybe 3....farenheit, not celsius...just to take the edge off. An hour later, and the house is downright chilly, enough so that I sort of want to get a blanket to watch my movie. What the hell....that's not a 3 degree difference. I expect to notice 3 degrees, but not go from outright too warm, to too cold. I just nudged it up by like, a degree, *maybe* 2, there has got to be a middle ground, but I am wondering in fact if there is something skewed in the way it actually measures and responds to the temperature.

Maybe we need to get that digital thermostat, and a programmable one to boot.
