more house

saw a townhome in the Baseline and woodroffe area, another Minto. Now I am in a dilemma. I think I definitely want a townhome, considering storage, on site laundry, etc… Compared to the one at Bayshore, this one is $130 more, plus heat is not included (so an even bigger disparity in winter), but it has a few notable bonuses. Stairs are wood, living room looks bigger (it’s not, but the division to the dining room is less noticeable, giving more useful space, bigger kitchen, and a decent size porch overtop the parking space (so even some car shelter). Drawbacks, older building, creakier floor, older cupboards, etc…, and slightly smaller bedrooms and bathroom. Also…Baseline and Woodroffe, which isn’t bad, I just like Bayshore more. Going back to see the Bayshore unit this afternoon.

As of July 12, my new address will be #5 51 Woodridge cres., K2B 7T2

Just saying. Took another look today, and realized that the linoleum stairs are only down into the basement, the stairs up, are wood. It’s not fancy, but it’s good, it looks solid, the appliances seem new (except the stove), it’s a good spot.

I think it’ll do just fine. I’ll post a few shots later.
