Well, I need to throw this open it seems, due to a nearly non-existent response to my last post about this.

If you are available to help on Saturday or Sunday, July 19, and 20 to help me move I will be grateful and ecstatic. Which of those 2 days it is will depend on my conversation with professional movers and when I can organize it, and I will nail it to one day probably by end of week. If you know you definitely can, please by all means drop a comment here. Hopefully I may see some of you to help the process move smoother.

ARe those dates right?
Moria is travelling in August now, instead of July, and nothing else conflicts. Saturday would probably be better (after gymnastics class in the morning) but Sunday is free too, I'd just have to shift my laundry day.

So yes, I can help. Although I don't know what exactly I will be strong enough to do, but I'll give it my all. :)

dates fixed...I misread the calendar.

Thanks for the help. If you have transportation room, that's always a help. There are always things that I like sending in a smaller load rather than getting crammed into a truck, and it lessens the possible need for multiple trips from the professionals.

I'll also need someone to help ferry me, as I have 2 vehicles I need to get over there.

I'm good for that! I'll reiterate that I may not be available until 10:30 or so on the Saturday (any time on the Sunday). In fact if you start out by driving over to this end, you could ride back with me as I make my first trip to your old place.

I'm also very good at being the "receiver-director" at the receiving end, and setting up kitchens and bathrooms and such.

I have plans on the saturday, and am likely to be somewhat drained on the sunday. I could potentially drive if you need an extra vehicle for anything, but am unlikely to be able to carry things.

What's the name of the movers you used? Were you satisifed with the service/rate?

Also...I still have the top half of that desk in my garage.
