I don't know enough about tattoos to know how the subtle shadings of the first would turn out, especially if reversed to black on another colour.
I don't like the third image as much, especially the choice of colours, but it looks more stylized and like it would transcribe better as a tattoo. And, yes, I think better without the rose, and maybe without the ribbons.
I like the first one. The shading would prolly end up being much more style-ized, but I think it would look cool. I don't like the shading pattern of the third, at all. The middle one might be a bit better for shading. Very apropo, i think!
I like the first one. Just for kicks, I took it into PhotoPaint and did some quick work on it to get an idea of what it might look like in dark on light, with the shading quantized ("posterized") a bit:
